The central focus of the Long Island Tax Professionals Symposium is the comprehensive seminar program co-sponsored with the Internal Revenue Service.
 

It is comprised of 80 sessions with more than 700 attendees and dozens of highly qualified instructors.
 

Attendees may earn up to 28.5 professional education credits at this one three-day event.
 

The seminar program is punctuated by a daily lunch program with nationally recognized industry, academic, state and federal tax spokespersons.
 

With the ever changing technology and tools required to perform their roles, the LITPS also presents tax professionals with a two day exhibition including dozens of exhibits from software, hardware, and other related vendors.
 

The daily networking event on the exhibition floor, and the Wednesday evening cocktail party with fabulous Crest Hollow hors d’oeuvres and beverages, provides an atmosphere conducive to making, and renewing, important relations between attendees, exhibitors, sponsors and LITPS management.
 

Wrapping up the three day Symposium is the highly regarded Technology Day Demonstration Hall on Friday. A select few technology–based organizations are invited to provide in-depth information and demonstrations of their newest offerings designed to improve the work flow, accuracy, efficiency and effectiveness of today’s practicing tax professional.
