These include: receiving a raise, obtaining a new job, marriage or divorce. Essentially these life changes could cause a taxpayer to lose all or part of the subsidy resulting in an increase in their taxes, a loss of refund or a balance due
Many of those taxpayers received an advanced premium tax credit, which subsidized their health insurance premiums, but a number of life changes - including a raise, a new job, or getting married or divorced - could render them ineligible for the credit
