    A Taxpayer filed a final cash basis "S" Corp in 2016.
    Additional obligations came to light in 2017, which the taxpayer paid personally.

    If the "S" were still active and paid the expenses, they would be deductible and passed through on the K-1 . However,  the final return was filed.

     

    How does the taxpayer treat these Corp expenses in 2017

    Any help appreciated.
