NYC Tax Considerations - Fractional and Virtual Offices

I have noticed a proliferation of suburban professionals establishing satellite offices in NYC, whether through a fractional office arrangement, or a virtual office where you have no physical assigned office, but access to conference and facillity space on an hourly basis.  This would include a We Work type of arrangement, or with firms such as Regus, or Stark Business Solutions. I am wondering what experiences my colleagues have had in this area, as I imagine NYC Dept of Finance should/would be interested in allocations to NYC, UBT filings, etc...., which in lots of cases I know are not taking place.  Is this something that NYC has taken a position on, can be expected to pursue moving forward, etc....?  Thank you in advance for any input/comments.

    Hi Steve,
Sounds to me like they have a physical presence. I would report it. With all the recent talk about physical and economic nexxus, it's sure to be on NYC's radar if it isn't already.
