    Hello friends,
    Client owns a co-op apartment in which her mother is the sole occupant.

    Carrying and operating costs run approx.$8,400 per year all of which are paid by the owner/daughter.

    This $8,400 does not equal more than one half of the mothers support however the mothers other sources of income are all non taxable:
    Public assistance, social security, medicaid, and food stamps.

    Can the daughter file as Head of Household?.
