    Has anyone ever requested permission from NYC to use an alternative allocation method for companies that have businesses in and outside of NYC.

    Yes Bruce.  I don't think the NYC Dept of Tax was ready for this new wrinkle.  I'm happy to chat with you about our experience.  I'll see you at the symposium.
