My friend is running for a local township and hope to be elected as a trustee.
He has asked us to help him with his compliances requirements… I told him I am unfamiliar and would reach out to colleagues to learn a bit.
He will collect well under $10,000 and it will all be spent in campaigning.
Is anyone familiar with the topic, and what the federal filing requirement is ?
I have not accepted the engagement, I only promised that I would familiarize myself with the compliance requirements
Any help appreciatedAbby
Are you inquiring about the disclosure of assets as an official or the PAC compliance? There are two CPAs who I could recommend, not sure if they would feel comfortable with me posting their contact info in the group.
