I hope all is well with you and yours. The next Virtual Chapter of the National Conference of CPA Practitioners meeting is scheduled for Thursday Dec 19 from 12:00PM – 1:00PM EST, allowing members from the West Coast to join us.
The Virtual Chapter meetings will be interactive and engaging, providing a valuable opportunity to discuss tax-related questions, share suggestions, and exchange insights. We will have an open forum in which you can ask your open tax questions with your peers. In addition we will have an off-the-cuff on Fraud Awareness and Prevention facilitated by David Carpenter, TIGTA (Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration) Supervisor, Office of Investigations. David has 10+ years of experience as a Criminal Investigator, having worked for the Secret Service, the Department of Justice, and the Treasury Dept.
Your expertise and participation are highly encouraged as we aim to build a vibrant community. Furthermore, please feel free to extend this invitation to your colleagues, as we aspire to expand our Virtual Chapter and strengthen NCCPAP as a whole.
