Salvatore Albanese CPA
Mr. Albanese began his accounting career on July 11, 1977 with the big 8 accounting firm of Arthur Young and Company (now Ernst and Young). He worked for six years in both the audit and tax department of Arthur Young on clients such as American Express, Paine Webber, McMillan, Cheseboro Ponds, Random House, Mobil Oil, NBC, Dominick & Dominick, Collins and Aikman and numerous other companies and wealthy families. Having the proper audit, tax and consulting experience he formed Salvatore Albanese & Company LLC in 1984 with offices located at 875 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY 10001 and 65 East John Street, Hicksville, NY 11801 and served clients that include Eastman Kodak, Kodak Polychrome Graphics, The Carlyle Group, Sun Chemical, Cantor Fitzgerald, Tweezerman Corporation and wealthy families such as the Burden, Sukarno, Matuschka and many more.
Since inception, he has developed an expertise in the real estate industry. Currently, he is the Chief Financial Officer of Melville Gardens LLC and is responsible in the areas of budgeting, preparing financial projections, management and accounting with specific focus in the senior housing industry. During the last five years, he has been responsible for overseeing the accounting, tax and auditing functions of several assisted living facilities in Long Island owned by the Carlyle Group.
Sal donates countless hours to many non profitable organizations such as the Children Storefront, Cable Positive, Ricardo O'Gorman Garden & Library, the Oyster Bay East Norwich Soccer Club and many more.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants since 1980.
Sal is married to Maria and has 4 daughters, Elena Julie, Gabrielle and Melissa and lives in Oyster Bay, NY
