I have a pizzeria that is going to start charging their customers a fee for using a credit card.  I have seen this fee on receipts when I dined at some restaurants but i never paid attention to how it was treated from a sales tax perspective.  I keep hearing Mark Stone's voice saying everything is taxable unless specifically exempted.  I cannot find anything that states credit card surcharges are exempt when charged on a taxable sale.  Thanks in advance for any thoughts or comments.

Credit Card surcharges are taxable...  Sorry,

And remember EVERY SINGLE BUSINESS should be registered and filing a sales and use tax return...
