    Been a while since I had a client who hired a domestic employee in NJ.  They withheld federal and state taxes.  Seems as though I need to apply for a NJ ID number and then register them as an employer in NJ.  Looks like both are done online.  

    Then file the quarterly forms and Schedule H on their personal tax return.  And, of course, give the employee a W-2.

    Does that sound right?
