Congress’s recent moves provide shockingly good taxpayer windfalls. With the employee retention credit (ERC) retroactively (2020 funding) and proactively (2021 funding) available alongside PPP 1 and 2 borrowing, taxpayers may have some unique opportunities. While more IRS guidance is still needed and expected, this may be a great time for the accounting community to help their clients receive additional funding.
How does it all play out? Extremely well for taxpayers, but only if their tax advisors/preparers know how to optimally maneuver through it all.
Here’s an example. An employer (with 10 employees that earn $40,000 each) may receive, along with full (100%) PPP forgiveness, up to $50,000 in retroactive ERC for 2020 and $280,000 for 2021. Not bad at all. This course shows you how to thread the needle and obtain full PPP forgiveness and the maximum possible ERC.
But, we don’t stop there. We also give you the latest and greatest developments in PPP law.
- Guidance on exactly how PPP forgiveness and ERC interact
- Maximizing full PPP forgiveness and highest possible ERC at the same time
- Mechanics of how to achieve it all
**Prepare your supporting schedules, draft amended 941’s and PPP forgiveness applications, for the day of this seminar, then finalize and submit.
Bradley will provide guidance which will enable you to evaluate and balance tax credit and PPP forgiveness opportunities the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 (CAA) and American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) brought about.
