Learn the reasoning behind the legal measures recommended.  Identify several of the more common types of trusts and understand how they impact asset protection and tax liability.  The costs for long term care will be described and possible options available to offset these costs will be discussed. Recognize the objections some people have about shielding assets as protection. Learn the updated estate planning laws which need to be considered from a tax perspective.
