  • 1.  Legal Fees Deduction

    Client incurred substantial legal fees deducted from his social security disability award  for past fice years all paid in 2023.

    I am finding differing law as to whether it is still deductable.  I believe it is an above the line adjustment to income on Schedule 1.

    Any help or cite confirmation would be appreciated.
