FBAR Reporting post mortem

    Taxpayer dies in March 2023 and has reportable foreign bank accounts.

    Does that 2023 FBAR report asset values 1/1/23 thru DOD?

    If yes, does the taxpayer's estate have to also file an FBAR for the foreign accounts, perhaps

    from DOD thru 12/31/23?

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.
