This is a Lacerte issue, not a NY State one. I have the same problem. The 1041 is e-Filed effortlessly while the IT-205 fails.
Lacerte is unresponsive this year in addressing technical issues.

It's March 23, 2023, and NY continues to reject Lacerte IT-205 electronic submissions. The message I get is: "Lacerte is not ready to process Tax Year 2022 for this filing". Any other tax prep software users out there with the same issue? If yes, anyone have a clue as to when NYS will start accepting these submissions?
