Larry, I totally agree with you. I used to be able to submit the PA100 for clients somewhat quickly to get tax numbers as their CPA. Now, I've been trying register a biz for withholding and it keeps telling me that the number (EIN) isn't valid. and trying to get them on the phone? comical.
If I figure something out, I will update.

If there is a PA CPA or someone familiar with the new myPATH registration process, I would appreciate 5 min of your time on the phone. I have a few seemingly simple questions.
I have a NY corporation who just hired an employee in PA and needs to register there for withholding and unemployment purposes. And also to eventually file PA corporate tax returns since we now have a sales office there.
The online registration has been a nightmare. Plus their online question format and chat line is a waste. I even set up a specific time to receive a call from their tax department staff and no one called at that time slot.
Any help would be appreciated.
