I hope somebody can point me in the correct direction
Client thought they had dissolved a NYS Corporation back in 2018 as was indicated on Federal, NYS and NYC corporate returns. Taxpayer would like to reinstate the corporation, and discovered that NYS Dept of State shows the corporation as "active"
What do we do, since NYS DTF will not allow a "voluntary disclosure" filing of "delinquent" NYS corporate returns. Also do we have to file Federal 1120S returns for the delinquent inactive years. Do we just get a NEW EIN and file new SC elections?
Thank you for your feedback.
