  • 1.  Form 8752- fiscal year S corp

    Is there ever a situation where a fiscal year S corporation does not have to file a Form 8752? I have a client with a September year end that has never filed a Form 8752. Any thoughts on how to correct if necessary

    Exempt if natural year end but difficult to get approved. I was successful for a few sleep asay camps with sept year end.

    dont know formal process if delinquent but in past i just started filing since amount on deposit changes annualy and based on return filed. To date i have not had an issue but as i said, this may not be the formal way to address just practical.

    since this deposit removes benefit of fiscal year may want to consider adopting december year end and make the probelm go away
