MY client took a job in Florida in May of 2014 and is still working there in 2015. He still maintains his home in New York.

Do theses  the W-2 wages he earned in Florida  have to get tax in NEW YORK.  Or can he file a part year resident tax return?

Did he spend more than 183 days in NY in 2014? Does he own a home in Florida?
