    Are your clients who put their principal residences into an LLC or Limited Partnership risking loss of their mortgage interest and real estate tax deductions and also the exclusion of gain from the sale of that principal residence?  Find out all of the important information at our next chapter meeting.

    Dear Friends and Colleagues,   

    Our next Chapter meeting will be on Thursday, September 8th The topic will be “Asset Protection-Family Limited Partnerships-Protect Your and your clients Primary Residences. Our presenter will be Ken Rubinstein, Esq. He is a partner at Rubinstein & Rubinstein, LLP.  This meeting will be at The Woodlands, at the Town of Oyster Bay Golf Course, One Southwoods Road, Woodbury, NY. 2 CPE credits will be issued for this meeting.  Members’ Registration on or before Friday September 2nd is $55.00 and $70.00 after Friday.

    The very important topic of our next MAP meeting is “Planning for the Elder Client-Checklist of What You Should Know”.  Our presenter will be Richard Harms, Esq. of The Law Office of Richard Harms PC.  The meeting will be on Wednesday, September 28th at On Parade Diner in Woodbury, from 8AM to 10AM.   Members’ registration is $30 by Friday September 23rd and $40 after Friday and $50 at the door.

    We will reschedule our MAP meeting “Understanding Lease Terms and How to Negotiate a Lease” shortly.

    Live meetings are important for our members, you’re able to network, learn from your colleagues and peers.  People share their experiences.  Join us and build relationships that can help you in the future.  It’s also good to get away from your desk and comfort zone and change your perspective.

    All of our meetings are open to members of all neighboring chapters, and their friends.
