    high,

If a corp relocates from NY to NJ, and pays wages all through out the year to it's sole shareholder who works from home mostly, and partially in NY . What state gets the unemployment and DBL?

At year end, it is a foreign corp to NJ head quartered in NJ. It is registered to do business in NJ. Is there any reason to switch things, and make it foreign in NY and domestic to NJ ?

Does NJ also provide exemption from Workers comp for a sole share holder.

    Abby,
NJ requires that sole share holders have workers comp.  I had a client dissolve the Corp. and became a single LLC, filing as a Sch. C to avoid the high cost of workers comp,  If the employee is working in NJ, pay NJ SUI and DBL.  If occasionally in NY, I do not believe that it would matter.
