Our firm is considering candidates for a senior auditor to add to our team of professionals. As senior auditor you will serve as the principle contact and in-charge for all audit engagements. Our firm is currently engaged to perform approximately 30 small coop/condo management company audits, 2 large not-for-profit audits, and one Uniform Guidance audit.

Candidates should be an experienced auditor, possess a minimum of 3-5 years with a public firm, with in-charge experience highly preferable. He/she should be capable of completing the vast majority of field work, compliance testing, and program work, and work independently with minimum guidance from management. The candidate should possess the expertise to prepare draft financial statements and other financial reports for essentially all engagements, and should be familiar with Thompson Reuters PPC, CCH ProSystem FX Engagement and Trial Balance, and QuickBooks.

The majority of tasks for this position can be completed remotely, even as the NYS Executive Orders and NY on PAUSE are lifted. The budget for this position is approximately 25 hours per week year-round and can be flexibly structured. Candidates with versatile (tax) experience can be considered for full time hours beginning in 2021. Those interested should forward resumes and hourly rate requirements to paul@bezcpa.com as soon as feasible, as this position will be filled immediately. Initial phone interviews will commence throughout the week.
