I have been using BNA's Superform Tax Forms software for several years. As a sole practitioner, the $600+ annual renewal cost is feeling excessive. Does anyone have a suggestion as to a lower cost source for forms software? Is there a NCCPAP recommended program?
Any leads would be helpful. My renewal comes up in 3 weeks.

I use Superforms too and am debating the exact same question at this time.  I started with them 5 years ago.  I was paying $355 less 10% discount.  It goes up each year, though logic would say that the price should level out.  I am now at $469.  And the ability to get forms on line for free keeps getting easier.  I'd like to keep the program but it's harder to justify.  Larry

I have a full version of Adobe Acrobat which allows me to easily create fill able fields for any PDF form.  It also allows me to program simple mathematical formulas like C= A + B.

This works for me as there are only 3-4 forms that I prepare for my clients that is not in my tax software
