Happy Monday!          more nonsense and aggravation.

    re: 12/31/20 year end S-Corp
Filed NYCEXT 3/10/21 Accepted 3/10/21 ACH payment 3/15/21
Filed NYC3L 5/11/21 Accepted 5/11/21 No balance due
Client receives a letter dated 5/18/21 with a Letter ID of L1772499712
Letter assesses late filing penalty of $25.00 + late payment penalty of $0.24 + interest of $0.30 for a total of $25.54 due by 5/31/21
The notice acknowledges there is no tax due and $25.00 was paid with the extension on 3/15/21

I have attached the letter minus client info.

Has anyone else received a similar notice? In your experience, what is the best way to proceed? Phone call? Online response at nyc.gov/eservices? Paper letter? I have very rarely dealt with NYC. Comments and advice please.
    Thanks to all in advance.

Might just be me, but I find e-services impossible to use.  I have gotten 8 NYC UBT notices this year re incorrect computation of total income - every one of the was wrong and the returns were right.
Good  luck - I would try phone call or letter.
