    A number of IRS tax payments made on 1041's due 9/30/20 have not been deposited,
    some going on 5 weeks.

    Is anyone else encountering the same issue?

    While my response is not totally on point, I have several client's who mailed their personal federal extension payments on July 15, 2020 only to find that the checks first cleared earlier this month.

    I filed a final 1041 in Sept. 2019 with a refund due and after numerous calls to IRS still have not received refund.

    IRS officially stated that they are 3 months behind in dealing with paper mail.  Do not stop payments.  The checks will eventually clear and the credit will be given retroactively.
