New client.  He files Single.  His boyfriend is also listed on the 1095-A.  The Monthly Premiums on the 1095-A is the Total for both of them. I'm not sure how to properly enter the 1095-A.  Do I enter as-is on Form 1095-A and then an allocation is done?  Will the IRS take umbrage if do not enter what's on the form and enter 50% of the premium? I use Prosystemfx CCH.  If I just enter in half the Premium and use the Single SLCSP, a credit is generated, so I want to make sure to do this properly.  I called CCH help but the 2 people I spoke to<g class="gr_ gr_2283 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Punctuation only-del replaceWithoutSep" id="2283" data-gr-id="2283">,,</g><g class="gr_ gr_2284 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Style replaceWithoutSep" id="2284" data-gr-id="2284"><g class="gr_ gr_2283 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear Punctuation only-del replaceWithoutSep" id="2283" data-gr-id="2283">,</g>well</g>, let's just say I'm asking for help from you guys.

The coverage should be in one persons name with the other being covered under the domestic partner regulations. As such the individual with the coverage would qualify for any premium credit if it applies and the partner would just check off they have coverage
