    Individual tax clients have received a letter referring to recent inquiries made of IRS regarding the 2016 tax year.

    No such inquiries were made!

    Has anyone experienced similar IRS contacts?

    We got a couple of them, I assumed that they finally responded to some letter we wrote in over a year ago. In most cases we had written something... a loong time ago.
