Highlights:
Learn about the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants' (AICPA’s) recently issued SSARSs. Identify common accounting, reporting, and peer review issues, including the differences between several types of SSARSs engagements.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
• Recognize recently issued and effective SSARSs, including SSARSs No. 26.
• Identify frequent peer review deficiencies found in SSARSs engagements described in the most recent AICPA’s Peer Review Oversight Report
• Recall the differences between a Compilation and a Preparation Engagement
• Recognize common SSARSs accounting and reporting issues, including OCBOA.
Prerequisites: Experienced with engagements performed in accordance with SSARSs.
