February 6th chapter program will be a detailed update on issues affecting our clients impacted by Sandy:

·       Robert Barnett will review the computations and details that are required to properly advise clients of what they need to furnish for deduction of Casualty Losses.

·       Updates on any new and pending disaster recovery laws will be part of our program.

·       We will discuss practice management issues on methods to obtain the required information.

·       Representative from LI Community Foundation will provide update on government and charitable efforts in assisting families hurt by the storm.

·       Jonathan Lerner, Esq.  Will be reviewing the latest positions and negotiations from his experience with the adjusters and the insurance companies.
