Course Overview: Business in multiple states raises some problematic issues for companies and employees. And now with employees working remotely across state lines due to the pandemic, the rules are even more complex and convoluted. Joseph Endres and Mark Klein will guide you through the legal maze in this 120-minute presentation.

• Determine if a business must collect sales
taxes in all 50 states
• Determine if employees must pay tax (and
employers withhold tax) in every state visited
• Identify which states have changed their
nexus and withholding rules as a result of the
pandemic
• Identify the corporate tax implications of doing
business on the web
• List telecommuting and mobile workforce rules
• Identify tricky issues for allocating Income
(workday allocation, bonuses, stock options,
severance, retirement income, etc.)
