Earlier this week, members of the National Conference of CPA Practitioners met with senior representatives from the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance in Albany, NY. Including Thomas H. Mattox, Commissioner; Kevin Law, Director, Bureau of Conciliation and Mediation Services; Mwisa Chisunka, Senior Tax Analyst, Office of Public Affairs and Communications; Jamie Woodward, Executive Deputy Commissioner; Helen Pelersi, Director, Office of Processing and Taxpayer Services; Nonie Manion, Director, Audit Division; and Patricia Coneys, Director, Collections and Civil Enforcement Division; Scott Palladino, Assistant Deputy Commissioner, Office of Tax Policy Analysis; and Maryann Tucker, Director of Outreach and Constituent Services. The State representatives discussed timely issues and recent updates in substantive and procedural matters.
