What NCCPAP Can Do for You

Being a part of the National Conference of CPA Practitioners (NCCPAP) has so many advantages—as a practitioner, business owner, and active member of many other business-related communities. It has shaped who we are professionally and given us access to other members who are always willing to share their experiences, educate others in areas where we’re less familiar, and form lifelong friendships. NCCPAP is an organization where egos are left at the door and welcoming embraces are common.

We are a national organization with regional chapters. Regional chapters are where you can go for education, camaraderie, and connections. In addition, as a national organization, we are a powerful voice of the practitioner and taxpayer, with clout.

NATIONAL ADVOCACY

NCCPAP is an active participant in the monthly meetings with the National Public Liaison’s Office of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). There, we have the opportunity to share with the IRS what we hear and are experiencing with our members and their clients, and give honest feedback regarding pending legislation by Congress and rules and regulations posed by the IRS. As a national organization, we have:

Representation at IRS Advisory Council (IRSAC)
Participation on the AICPA Advisory Council
Met with various Congressional Offices regarding tax issues
Testified before Congressional Committees (House and Senate)
Participation on the Intuit Advisory Council
Representation before State Authorities

EDUCATION

We hold programs, webinars, and conferences at both the national and regional levels, often with well-known speakers and experts. We offer:

Up to 12 free CPE credits available each year through webinars and/or in person events
Daily/weekly email updates from our Tax and/or Issues Committees
Local meetings, webinars, symposiums available at member only prices
