Don’t miss out on this important session featuring our guest speaker, former NCCPAP President, and 2022 Gold Award recipient, Neil H. Fishman, CPA, CFE, FCPA, CAMS.

Accountants and auditors are responsible for detecting and deterring fraud by evaluating accounting systems for weaknesses, designing and monitoring internal controls, determining the degree of organizational fraud risk, interpreting financial data for unusual trends, and following up on fraud indicators; therefore, it is imperative that we, as CPAs, become informed about this topic and the resources available for educating ourselves over the long term. There will be an open Q&A session following Neil’s presentation.

This session of NCCPAP NOW will start off with NCCPAP’s National President, Frank E. Sands, CPA who will give an update on various issues and topics affecting practitioners. Next, you will hear from our IRS liaison and tax committee co-chair, Stephen F. Mankowski, CPA, CGMA, regarding specifics on the status of IRS Notices, Congressional legislation, and pending tax laws affecting your practices and your clients. After that, our featured speaker will discuss the topic of Occupational Fraud.

We welcome Immediate Past President, Mark A. Stewart Jr., CPA, as our M.C.

The event will take place on October 23, 2023 at 10AM ET.
