Frank A. Gallo to Speak at NCCPAP’s 18th Annual Accounting and Tax Symposium

Gallo, CPA and Managing Partner of Gallo & Company CPA's LLP of Jericho, NY is a long-standing member of the National Conference of CPA Practitioners (NCCPAP), a member of the Nassau/Suffolk Chapter of NCCPAP, Board Member of the Educational Foundation of the Nassau/Suffolk Chapter of NCCPAP, and Vice President of NCCPAP at the national level. This is his sixth year as a Symposium presenter. He will be leading four sessions at this year’s Annual NCCPAP Accounting & Tax Symposium (ATS 2020) taking place on November 10, 13, 18, and 19. Statement on Standards for Account and Review Services (SSARS), in conjunction with fellow NCCPAP member, Edward P. Caine, MBA, CPA, CFF, CITP, CGMA
Mr. Gallo and Mr. Caine will be covering the latest updates on compilation and reviews, any new standards, and what accountancy to look for on work papers and financial statements. This session is appropriate for those tax professionals who are preparing financial statements for compilations or reviews for their clients.

 

Compilation and Preparation Services, also with fellow NCCPAP member, Edward P. Caine
Those attending this session will get a feel for what accountants are doing with compilation and preparations services; how they are offering them to their clients; and how they are maintaining their documentation for their clients. This session is for those tax professionals who are offering preparation services in their practice to their small business clients.

 

Auditing Update, in conjunction with fellow NCCPAP member, Steven Franciosa, CPA
Mr. Gallo and Mr. Franciosa will cover the new standards from the American Institute of CPAs soon to take effect, as well as others that were postponed. This session is designed for tax professionals who are preparing financial statements for their clients.

 

PPP and Its Effect on Your Financial Statements, also with fellow NCCPAP member, Steven Franciosa
During this session, they will cover the latest updates regarding Going Concern issues, the PPP loans and forgiveness documentation, how it will be handled tax-wise, and if smaller loans will turn into grants. Those whose practices have taken PPP loans or who have clients with PPP loans should attend this important update.
