‘The Place to Be’ for a Sophisticated Dialog and a Fantastic Experience

The Educational Foundation of the Nassau/Suffolk Chapter of NCCPAP and the Nassau/Suffolk Chapter of NCCPAP are proud to announce this year’s lineup for its Accounting and Tax Symposium (ATS). This year’s event (formerly known as the Long Island Tax Professionals Symposium or LITPS) will remain virtual. Based on the success of last year’s virtual format, the NCCPAP organizations will continue to welcome a national audience with unparalleled resources and accessibility to experts not found at any other venue on the East Coast.

According to conference chairman, Robert L. Goldfarb, CPA, CGMA, DBAFA, “We have spent tireless hours developing our 2021 attendee experience to make this a valuable and memorable event. In short, ATS 2021 is ‘THE PLACE’ to be for a sophisticated dialog around accounting and tax issues.” This year’s conference will allow attendees to earn up to 32 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits at various sessions on November 9, 12, 16 and 18. Registration is now open with Early Bird discount pricing available.

Andrea Parness, CPA, CTC and President of the Educational Foundation continues, “Our lineup of speakers continues to grow, with some familiar faces, and some new ones. So far, 35 experts are confirmed, and the list is growing each day. We will continue to add more speakers and announce our Keynote at a later date. So far, our session topics include: The Biden Administration Proposed Tax Law Changes, Moving Beyond the Pandemic, How the Mass Affluent Can Benefit from Long Term Care Planning, Social Security, Trust Funds, Accounting and Auditing Updates, Bitcoin, and Cybersecurity.” NCCPAP expects to attract over 1000 tax and accounting professionals nationwide, the main benefit being that these resources are not available at any other single event. As with all NCCPAP events, there will be opportunities to make new connections and share insights about the profession. Andrea continues, “Our tagline, ‘Connect. Learn. Share.’ says it all—we are an extremely active community of tax professionals that enjoy being together and learning from each other.”

Registration is now open, and Sponsorships Packages are now available. For more information, visit: nationalats.org.
