Our guest speaker will cover the topic of engagement letters. By attending this NCCPAP NOW series, you will understand how to improve your practice and protect yourself by instituting a policy of sending these letters annually. Our speaker will share the details regarding each party’s responsibilities and what should be included in this type of letter, as well as the template used by his firm. At the end of this segment, there will be a Q&A session designed to answer specific questions you may have.
Attendees will also hear from two additional speakers who will cover tax and regulatory information, based on the most recent economic, tax, and other current events. You will hear specifics regarding the status of IRS Notices, Congressional legislation, and pending laws affecting your practices and your clients. We will identify and communicate NCCPAP’s position and response, discuss applicable letters to Congress, and present issues affecting practitioners and taxpayers.
